The town of Novalja is the tourist center of the island of Pag and is located on the northwestern part of the island. Traffic the connection with the mainland is excellent. Novalja is known for its numerous gravel and sand beaches.

Novalja is rich in all tourist attractions. From diving, jet ski hire, paintball, hiking, desert quad, sea kayaking to restaurants where guests can enjoy the traditional dishes of Pag cuisine. You can spend summer evenings on the terrace of pubs with sounds traditional notes of Dalmatian klapas. For guests who want to have fun, there are numerous clubs as well the nearby Zrće beach, which is also called the Croatian Ibiza. Boat trips are also organized.

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary – also called the Little Church, was built in the 17th century on the foundations early Christian basilicas, i.e. medieval churches. Above the altar there is a miracle worker the image of the Mother of God who wept in the 16th century, and the remains can be seen inside the church floor mosaic of the early Christian basilica from the 4th century.

City Museum of Novalja
The Novalja capsella reliquiarum – the chest of power – discovered in 1971 during the renovation of the house. It is assumed that it dates back to the 4th century and represents a unique reliquary in Croatia is one of only a few such in the world
